Project Accountant

Job Description:

This position involves:

• Consolidating monthly financial results from multiple business units and preparing management accounts
• Analysing financial performance and preparing commentary on key variances
• Assisting with interim and annual financial reporting and results announcements
• Preparing detailed IFRS-compliant working papers and financial statement disclosures
• Performing impairment testing and supporting audit processes
• Assisting with annual budgeting and forecasting across the group
• Compiling annual financial statements for subsidiary entities
• Working closely with auditors and senior stakeholders across the business

Skills & Experience:

• Exposure to group reporting, group consolidations, or financial statement preparation (advantageous)
• Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting ability
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders

Qualification:

• Newly Qualified CA (SA) - (non-negotiable)
