Cloud Architect

You will work closely with both technical and executive stakeholders, shaping cloud strategy, driving cost optimisation, and delivering secure, scalable solutions aligned to business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Azure cloud architecture including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid solutions
- Develop and govern Azure landing zones, security models, and cost optimisation strategies (FinOps)
- Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessments, planning, and execution
- Define monitoring, disaster recovery, and resilience strategies for enterprise environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Provide architecture oversight across cloud and on-prem infrastructure
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator)
Experience:
- 4 - 8 years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or architecture roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS, governance, migration)
- Experience in hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Exposure to AWS is advantageous
- Experience in cost modelling, optimisation, or FinOps is beneficial
- Strong stakeholder engagement and solution design experience
Skills:
- Azure Architecture (Landing Zones, Governance, Security)
- Cloud Migration & Strategy
- Infrastructure (Active Directory, Virtualisation, Networking)
- Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
- Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity
