Cost Accountant

As the Cost Accountant , you'll be the financial custodian of all Food & Beverage inventory and cost-related activities across multiple outlets, bars, cellars, and storage facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting three-way matching between purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices
• Monitoring inventory movements and overseeing weekly beverage counts and monthly stock takes
• Identifying and investigating stock variances, losses, wastage, spoilage, and shrinkage
• Calculating and analysing Food & Beverage cost percentages and preparing insightful management reports
• Tracking actual performance against budget and providing meaningful variance analysis
• Reviewing supplier pricing and identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved efficiencies
• Maintaining accurate recipe costings, portion controls, and menu profitability analysis
• Collaborating closely with Executive Chefs and F&B leadership to maximise margins and operational performance
• Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, financial controls, and audit requirements

Essential Requirements

• 2-3 years' experience in Cost Accounting, Hospitality Finance, Inventory Management, or Procurement
• Strong financial analysis and cost-of-sales experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience working with stock and inventory control systems
• Knowledge of POS platforms such as Micros or similar systems
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
