Courier & Dispatch Clerk

Duties / Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods and supporting paperwork.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer, delivery and courier orders accurately.
• Prepare waybills, invoices and supporting delivery documents.
• Photograph courier and delivery items where required.
• Track dispatched parcels and keep shipment statuses updated.
• Work closely with sales, warehouse teams and other branches.
• Load and offload goods safely and correctly.
• Assist with stock counts, inventory controls and discrepancy reporting.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety standards.
• Support service improvements and help identify better ways of working.

Requirements

• At least 2 years’ retail warehouse experience.
• Good knowledge of picking, packing, dispatch and courier processes.
• Experience working on a product or stock ERP system.
• Computer literate with good MS Office skills.
• Renewable energy, electrical or lighting product knowledge would be an advantage.
• Able to work accurately in a busy, deadline-driven environment

Education

• National Senior Certificate / Grade 12.
