Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and maintain security architectures and controls

- Monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats and incidents

- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

- Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)

- Investigate and resolve security breaches and incidents

- Collaborate with IT and business teams to strengthen security posture

- Contribute to continuous improvement of security processes and strategies

Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

- Relevant security certifications advantageous (CISSP, CEH, CISM, Security+)

Experience

- 4-6 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or related roles

- Experience in Security Operations (SOC), Incident Response, or Threat Intelligence

- Experience with network security, firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection

- Exposure to cloud security (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

- Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing

Skills

- Cyber threat analysis & incident response

- Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST)

- SIEM & security tools (Splunk, QRadar)

- Network & endpoint security

- Cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP)
