Cyber Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions and controls.
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities.
- Implement security best practices across networks, applications, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve security posture.
- Contribute to security governance, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
- Relevant Cyber Security certifications advantageous.
Experience
- 4-6 years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Infrastructure Security.
- Experience implementing and managing security technologies and controls.
- Experience with vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response.
- Experience securing cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with network security, endpoint security, and identity management solutions.
- Experience working within security frameworks, governance, and compliance environments.
Skills
- Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, SIEM, Endpoint Security, and Threat Detection solutions.
- Knowledge of Azure Security, AWS Security, Cloud Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Security Monitoring, and Threat Intelligence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
