Database Administrator

Job Description:

Keep critical data environments running smoothly by supporting SQL Server databases, ETL processes, and BI platforms. You'll play a key role in monitoring performance, resolving incidents, maintaining security, and ensuring the reliability of business-critical data operations.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in Database Administration, BI Support, Data Management, or IT Support
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts
• Experience monitoring database performance, availability, and system health
• Understanding of SQL Agent jobs, ETL processes, and data refresh activities
• Exposure to database security, user access management, and governance principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting backups, restores, and disaster recovery activities advantageous
• Exposure to SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, or Power BI advantageous
• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow within modern data and cloud environments

Qualification:

• National Diploma, B-Tech Degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification
• Foundational SQL and database administration knowledge
• Understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and BI support concepts advantageous
• Exposure to Microsoft data technologies, reporting tools, or cloud platforms beneficial
