DevOps engineer

We are urgently looking for a DevOps engineer for Standard bank. The person will be expected to work on a hybrid bases going in 2x a week to the Rosebank office in JHB ( sometimes Simmonds street but not often)BUT the client is moving towards full time back in office at some point so I just want to be fully transparent about this upfront.

The rate is between R 90 k - R 100k.

Experience

• Handson work experience in a hybrid (AWS) cloud environment preferably in thefinancial sector with PCI-DSS compliant systems.

• ImplementingCI/CD pipeline automation across functional areas

• AWSworkload automation (provisioning infrastructure and custom softwareconfiguration rollout)

• ImplementingObservability for hybrid cloud-based environments

• Strongunderstanding of networking principles and protocols

• Troubleshootinglow latency & Java based applications in a SRE (Site ReliabilityEngineering) context

• Familiarity/applyingPlatform Engineering principles and practices

Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework and practices
