Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the boutique hotel.
- Manage reservations, bookings and general administration.
- Set up and serve breakfast to guests.
- Coordinate small group conferencing and related arrangements.
- Manage housekeeping operations and conduct regular room and public area inspections.
- Ensure all rooms and common areas meet the required standards of cleanliness, presentation and maintenance.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently.
- Address guest queries and assist with any concerns to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Maintain an organised, welcoming and well-run environment throughout the hotel.
- SA Citizen.
- Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
- General experience in guest house, accommodation or hotel management.
- Preferably reside in the Southern Suburbs in close proximity to Rondebosch
- Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a guest-focused attitude.
- Reliable and able to work independently.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining high service standards.
- Must be well presented and professional in approach.
- Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Own, reliable transport essential.
