Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their Engineering team. This role is ideal for a skilled artisan with strong industrial electrical experience, exceptional fault-finding abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installations, modifications, and upgrades.
Carry out preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, automation, and control equipment.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure optimal plant performance.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Minimum Requirements
N3 qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Qualified Electrician with a completed Trade Test.
Minimum of 3 years' post-trade test experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit drawings.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Sound knowledge of:
Electrical switchgear
Industrial automation
Electrical circuits and controls
AC/DC drives and motors
PLC systems
Electronic experience will be advantageous.
Computer literate with a basic understanding of industrial systems.
Physically fit and able to work in an industrial environment.

High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Willingness to work shifts, standby duties, and overtime when required.
