Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop and maintain embedded software for commercial and industrial products

• Develop software solutions for embedded devices, control systems and intelligent technologies

• Participate in the development of new products from concept through to deployment

• Integrate software with electronic hardware, sensors, communication interfaces and control systems

• Support system testing, validation and performance optimisation activities

• Develop automation tools and software that improve product performance, testing and operational efficiency

• Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues across development and production environments

• Collaborate with hardware, electronic, mechanical and systems engineering teams

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, software specifications and development reports

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of Embedded Software Engineering experience

• Strong software development experience using C, C++ or C#

• Experience developing software for embedded platforms or real-time applications

• Exposure to hardware-software integration and system-level development

• Experience with software debugging, troubleshooting and testing

• Understanding of communication protocols and device integration

• Experience working within product development environments

• Exposure to automation systems, industrial technologies or intelligent control systems advantageous

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualification:

• BEng, BSc or BTech in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
