Automation Engineer

Job Description:

• Design, develop and enhance embedded software for a range of electronic and automated systems

• Contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and support

• Develop software solutions for embedded devices, control systems and connected technologies

• Integrate software with hardware platforms, sensors and communication interfaces

• Participate in system troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation activities

• Develop tools and utilities to improve testing, monitoring and automation processes

• Support product verification, validation and system integration efforts

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions

• Create and maintain technical documentation, specifications and development records

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 - 4 years of Embedded Software Development experience

• Experience developing software in C, C++ or C#

• Exposure to embedded systems and firmware development

• Experience working with hardware-integrated software solutions

• Understanding software architectures and system-level development
• Experience with debugging, testing and troubleshooting complex systems

• Exposure to automation, control systems or industrial technologies advantageous

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work within multidisciplinary product development environments

Qualification:

• BEng, BSc or BTech in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Electrical & Electronic Engineering
