Entree Level Mechanical Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical components, equipment and systems.
• Support engineers with 3D CAD modelling, drawings and technical documentation.
• Assist with engineering calculations, specifications and design verification.
• Participate in product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOMs), manufacturing drawings and technical packs.
• Liaise with production, procurement and suppliers to support engineering requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical and manufacturing-related issues.
• Participate in engineering projects from concept through to implementation.
• Conduct basic analysis and engineering investigations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Ensure designs and engineering documentation comply with relevant quality, safety and technical standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BEng / BSc / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2-4 years' experience in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Graduate Engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Exposure to 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks will be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, engineering calculations and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• A strong willingness to learn, develop and gain practical engineering experience.
