Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing and purchasing grapes, deciduous and citrus fruit for export.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with farmers, suppliers and distributors.
  • Negotiating competitive pricing and favourable purchasing terms.
  • Managing communication and relationships with key stakeholders throughout the supply chain.
  • Monitoring market trends, pricing movements and relevant industry regulations.
Requirements:
  • Matric.
  • Tertiary qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in fruit procurement.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in purchasing fruit for export.
