Export Key Accounts Manager

Promoting and selling the company's products, services and solutions to the hospitality industry.

Achieving sales targets and growing market share through excellent customer service, effective marketing activity and strong relationship building.

Directing and coordinating export operations in line with established goals, objectives, policies and procedures.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the company's products, services, solutions, policies, procedures and projects, as well as market conditions and competitor activity.

Establishing and maintaining a dealer network across countries targeted by the export sales programme.

Preparing and delivering sales presentations, product and service demonstrations, and other sales solutions to customers and decision-makers.

Developing new accounts and growing the company's international customer base, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers through regular contact and a structured calling schedule.

Capturing new customer information and keeping account records up to date in the corporate database.

Working closely with customers to understand their requirements, answer questions and offer suitable product, service and solution recommendations.

Investigating and resolving customer service or product-related issues promptly and courteously.

Communicating the company's brand identity and market position clearly and appropriately to target markets.

Upholding a strong code of ethics, integrity and professionalism at all times.

Compiling weekly, monthly and quarterly sales data and reports.

Adapting the sales approach as needed to support business growth in both emerging and declining markets.

Requirements:

Grade 12 (or equivalent).

A degree in Sales and Marketing, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

A valid driving licence and own vehicle are essential.

A valid passport, with the ability to travel and spend time abroad.

Willingness and ability to attend training sessions and customer meetings, both locally and internationally.

Computer literacy (Microsoft Office package).

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

A proven sales record and sound knowledge of African markets.
