A market-leading global logistics organization is seeking experienced Field Sales Executives to join their Johannesburg & Durban sales team. These are pure "hunter" roles within a high-performance sales culture, focused on winning new business across Air and Ocean Freight.

This organization is a recognized leader in the freight forwarding industry, offering a structured sales environment, strong brand recognition, and uncapped earning potential for high achievers.

As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing new business across Air and Ocean Freight modes. You will target medium-to-large business customers and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.

Essential Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or relevant tertiary qualification, preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales
Proven track record in Air Freight and Ocean Freight sales
Strong "hunter" mentality with verifiable new business acquisition results
Based in Johannesburg or willing to travel extensively within the region
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce, iSell, or similar)

Additional Valued Experience:

Background in Mining, Technical, or Industrial logistics
Experience selling multi-modal solutions (Air, Ocean, Road, Customs)
Existing relationships with mid-to-large sized importers/exporters

Key Responsibilities:

Proactively hunt for new business opportunities within the Johannesburg market
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline (target: EUR 4 million in active opportunities)
Conduct a minimum of 36 sales calls per month (70% new business focus)
Present tailored logistics solutions to prospective clients
Negotiate contractual terms aligned with corporate sales policy
Utilize CRM tools to track activities, quotes, and pipeline health
