Financial Accountant

Mining is a big business with even bigger financial moving parts. This Centurion organisation is looking for a Financial Accountant who can bring strong technical accounting skills, commercial awareness, and the confidence to get stuck into the detail.

Having completed SAICA or SAIPA articles and built two years of post-articles experience, you'll be ready to take on a role that offers genuine exposure, responsibility, and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own key monthly accounting activities and contribute to accurate financial reporting
• Keep reconciliations, journals, and financial records in order
• Dig into variances and financial results to uncover what is really happening in the business
• Get involved in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes
• Contribute to annual financial statements, audits, and statutory reporting

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance (essential)
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
• Minimum 2 years' post-articles experience
• Mining industry experience
• Strong ERP systems and Microsoft Excel skills
