Our client is seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key financial reporting processes while working closely with stakeholders across the business to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information by:
- Preparing financial reports
- Reviewing management accounts
- Assisting with annual financial statements
- Performing key financial reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and internal financial controls
- Providing meaningful financial commentary, analysis, and insights to management
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiencies
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders
