Group Finance Accountant

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Assist with monthly group reporting and consolidations
• Prepare and analyse management accounts and board reporting packs
• Support interim and annual financial reporting requirements
• Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
• Support the external audit process
• Manage and coordinate B-BBEE reporting and verification processes
• Prepare debtors risk assessment reports
• Perform financial analysis and investigate reporting variances
• Drive reporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assist with ad hoc accounting, finance and reporting projects

• Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge
• Experience in financial reporting and annual financial statements
• Group reporting and consolidation experience advantageous
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to take ownership
• Systems-oriented with an interest in automation and process improvement

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles advantageous.
