Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems
- Manage and lead the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems
- Coordinate IT projects, such as system upgrades or software implementations, to ensure they are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and optimize network performance, security, and reliability
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide support to staff members
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts for IT products and services
- Stay informed about new technologies and recommend updates or improvements to existing systems
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of IT systems and services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in IT management or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Expertise in network administration, system security, and data backup solutions
- Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, and other emerging technologies
- Experience with project management and budgeting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Industry certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate, are a plus
