Job title: Kitchen Manager
Location: Polokwane
Salary: R28 000 - R35 000
Job Duties:
Manage and oversee all kitchen operations
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
Control food costs, stock, and ordering
Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
Develop menus in collaboration with the Head Chef / Executive Chef
Handle kitchen scheduling and staff performance
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
Proven experience in a 4-5 star Lodge and/or Hotel
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Culinary qualification (advantageous)
Strong background in hospitality or restaurant management
Food portfolio and recent payslip must acompany your application
