Operations Manager

Manage the import of pump components and spares from China.

Oversee local procurement and supplier relationships.

Lead production planning, assembly, and manufacturing operations.

Manage warehousing, inventory, logistics, and customer deliveries.

Ensure quality standards, inspections, and compliance are maintained.

Drive the execution of mining slurry pump projects from design through commissioning and final handover.

Coordinate cross-functional teams including

Engineering, Production, Procurement, Sales, and Quality.

Lead new product development initiatives.

Build, mentor, and manage teams of Fitters, Production staff, QC Inspectors, and Application Engineers.

Monitor operational performance, budgets, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Provide technical support to customers and distributors where required.

Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.

Minimum 8 years' experience in the mining, slurry pump, pump manufacturing, or heavy engineering industry.

Previous experience as an Application Engineer, Project Manager, or similar technical leadership role.

Proven experience managing production, assembly, procurement, quality, logistics, and project execution.

Strong knowledge of slurry pumps, rotating equipment, and mining applications.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Valid driver's licence.
