A well-established company within the industrial and services sector is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator / Wages Clerk to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in high-volume payroll and wages administration, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll and wage calculations accurately and timeously

Manage timesheets, attendance, leave and employee records

Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

Generate payroll, attendance, overtime and labour cost reports

Manage clocking and time & attendance systems

Assist with employee onboarding, terminations and payroll documentation

Liaise with HR, Payroll, Finance and operational management

Maintain accurate payroll records and spreadsheets

Assist with audits, compliance and payroll-related administration

Minimum Requirements:

Proven payroll / wages administration experience

Experience with high-volume payroll environments

Strong payroll reconciliation and reporting skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel - VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables & reporting

Experience with time & attendance / clocking systems

Knowledge of payroll legislation and BCEA requirements

Strong numerical, organisational and analytical abilities

Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality

Software Experience:

QuickBooks | Advanced Excel | Sage VIP
