A reputable and well-established commercial vehicle dealership group is seeking a dynamic Commercial Truck Sales Executive for IVECO and FAW to join their Pretoria-based sales team.
In this role, you will take full ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle-from prospecting, cold calling, and fleet presentations to deal negotiation, tender preparation, and final vehicle handover. Salary: Market-Related Gross PM (Depending on experience and sales track record) + Lucrative, Uncapped Commission Structure
Status: Full-Time, Permanent following a successful 3-month probation period

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales volume and gross profit targets for commercial trucks and fleet units.
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Proactively source new commercial clients, build a robust pipeline through cold outreach, and maintain strong relationships with key fleet decision-makers.
End-to-End Deal Management: Manage the entire sales workflow from client needs analysis and presentations to negotiation, closing, and coordinating final vehicle delivery.
Quotations & Tenders: Prepare accurate quotes, structure vehicle financing deals, coordinate logistics, and submit fleet/commercial tenders.
Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate customer databases (CRM), compile regular sales reports, and complete all required sales compliance paperwork.
Market Intelligence & CSI: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, vehicle specifications, and competitor activities while delivering exceptional customer service to drive repeat business.
Are You the Perfect Fit?
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
Essential Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of proven sales experience within the commercial vehicle, fleet, or automotive sales industry.
Proven Track Record: Verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets within a dealership environment.
Product Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of commercial trucks, payload specifications, and customer fleet requirements.
Licensing: Valid and unendorsed South African driver’s license (Code 10/14 or Code 8 with reliable transport).
Skills & Attributes: Outstanding negotiation, communication, presentation, and closing skills under pressure.
References: Clear, contactable references from previous direct managers (Sales Managers or Dealer Principals).
