Print and Telco Field Service Technician

We are seeking a competent and motivated Print and Telco Field Service Technician to support our operations in the Free State. What You'll Do:

• Service client devices onsite, ensuring optimal performance
• Perform logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices
• Carry out IT-related troubleshooting and software support, including firmware updates and device installations
• Troubleshoot hardware issues on Copiers and Printers
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise client failures
• Complete calls within SLA and maintain quality standards
• Manage boot stock of toners and spares, submit job sheets, and ensure stock accuracy
• Conduct monthly stock takes and operate the mobile app (Tech Connect) efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 Qualification
• Valid Drivers License
• Two years of experience in the office automation industry
• Previous field service experience
• Hands-on experience with printers and copiers
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Good time management skills
• Experience in backstock management

Familiarity with the following:

• Office automation equipment
• Mobile app operation (Tech Connect)
