Minimum Key Requirements:

  • Matric.
  • Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' production planning experience.
  • Experience using planning systems such as Voyager, APO, ERP, or similar.
  • Experience within the Pulp & Paper manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
  • SAP experience, including Master Data and BOM maintenance.
  • Advanced Excel skills.

Key Responsibilities: Report to the Planning Manager:

  • Daily planning and scheduling.
  • Monitor and report on performance.
  • Schedule stock for re-reeling activities.
  • Maintain Master Data and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Participate in daily operational meetings.
  • Optimise deckle efficiency and minimise material waste.
  • Liaise with Production and Sales teams regarding order book requirements.
  • Balance supply and demand to meet customer commitments.
  • Act as the primary link between Production, Sales, and Customer Service.
  • Provide production planning support afterhours and on weekends when required.
  • Collaborate with vendors regarding M-Files enhancements and AI-driven capabilities.
