Professional Accountant - Urgently needed

An established professional accounting firm in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Professional Accountant to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a recently qualified "SAIPA or SAICA professional" who enjoys client interaction, financial reporting, and mentoring junior staff.

Minimum Requirements:

Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles

Relevant Accounting qualification

Strong VAT knowledge

Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements using IFRS for SMEs

Company and Individual Tax knowledge

Xero experience ESSENTIAL

CaseWare experience ESSENTIAL

Pastel Partner and Sage One experience advantageous

Experience supervising junior staff

Excellent communication and client relationship skills

Own reliable transport and valid driver's licence

Must currently reside in the Western Cape

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a portfolio of clients

Prepare and review Annual Financial Statements

Review management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts

Supervise and mentor junior staff and trainees

Ensure statutory compliance and submissions

Assist clients with accounting and software support

Maintain strong client relationships and provide exceptional service
