Professional Water Engineer

- The design of wastewater infrastructure - bulk water or water treatment plants

- project management of multidisciplinary projects

- contract administration

- supporting construction, multi-disciplinary engineering integration

- liaison with project stakeholders

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a BSc or B Eng in Civil Engineering is required.
• A Master’s in Water and Wastewater Treatment is a strong advantage.
• A BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering will also be considered, providing you have experience in wastewater treatment design and project management. Please provide evidence on your CV of experience in the design and engineering of such projects.
• Experience with large scale treatment plants, reservoirs and/or bulk water
• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer essential.
• The roles involve site work and may require travel and work on site. A valid driver’s license (manual) is essential, own transport recommended.

• At least 5-8+ years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design, project management, with sound knowledge of treatment plants or bulk water projects

• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication
• Strong and demonstratable technical skills in the Water Engineering space
• Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project preferred

• Excellent proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write).
• Deeply motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems to improve system efficiency and sustainability.
• Client focused (both internal and external clients).
