Senior Mobile Developer

Job Description:

As a Senior Mobile Software Engineer, you'll work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and enhance mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, technical leads, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality mobile experiences while contributing to technical direction and best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining mobile applications using Flutter.
• Developing new features and improving existing functionality alongside product and design teams.
• Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code that performs reliably at scale.
• Optimising applications for performance, usability, and overall user experience.
• Identifying, investigating, and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Mentoring intermediate and junior software engineers while helping establish engineering best practices.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating across front-end, back-end, UI, and engineering teams to ensure optimal full-stack performance.
• Contributing within Agile teams through planning sessions, stand-ups, and delivery cycles.
• Driving quality through unit testing, integration testing, and a strong software craftsmanship mindset.
• Staying current with new mobile technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices.

Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter, and related mobile technologies.
• Experience building applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Experience with Bloc, Cubit, or similar state management frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web technologies.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC.
• Experience working within Agile software development environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and mentoring capabilities.
• Passion for building exceptional software and delivering outstanding user experiences.
• Passion for gaming is advantageous.

Qualification:

• Relevant Degree, Diploma, or equivalent software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
