Senior Power Electronics Engineer

As a Senior Power Electronics Development & Compliance Engineer, you will play a critical role throughout the full product lifecycle, from requirements definition and system design through validation, certification, homologation, and production. You will leverage your expertise in power electronics to convert customer, technical, and regulatory requirements into robust hardware and firmware solutions while ensuring products meet stringent industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-power electronic products including DC/DC converters, DC/AC inverters, battery chargers, motor drives, and associated control systems.
• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into engineering specifications and verification plans.
• Participate in hardware design, simulation, testing, debugging, validation, and design reviews.
• Drive compliance activities in line with automotive and industrial standards.
• Execute electrical, thermal, reliability, environmental, and EMC testing.
• Prepare certification documentation and homologation packages.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative products.

Education:

BEng, BSc, or Master's Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience developing high-power power electronic products.
• Extensive experience designing and validating high-power conversion systems, including DC/DC converters, inverters, and switch-mode power supplies above 10kW.
• Proven track record of delivering commercially successful products from initial concept through testing, regulatory approval, and manufacturing.
• In-depth understanding of power electronics architecture, control strategies, thermal design principles, magnetic components, and high-current PCB layout techniques.
