This is a senior agronomy role providing advanced technical expertise and consultative support to growers and commercial teams.
You will use field diagnostics, product evaluations, and agronomic insights to help improve grower outcomes and business performance.
The role combines technical agronomy with customer engagement, product development, and commercial enablement.
You will lead field development programs for emerging products, technologies, and innovative agricultural solutions.
By analyzing agronomic and telemetry data, you will translate field information into practical recommendations and business insights.
You will also serve as a trusted subject matter expert, strengthening agronomic capabilities and consultative selling skills across commercial teams.

Accountabilities:
- Provide advanced agronomic support through field diagnostics, product performance evaluations, and product placement recommendations that support customer success.
- Lead and contribute to field development programs for emerging products, technologies, and innovative agronomic solutions, including data collection and performance evaluation.
- Analyze agronomic and telemetry data to generate actionable insights and decision-support recommendations for growers and commercial teams.
- Serve as an agronomic subject matter expert by delivering technical training that strengthens product knowledge, agronomic expertise, and consultative selling capabilities.
- Partner closely with commercial teams and growers to identify opportunities, address agronomic challenges, and support business growth.
- Provide practical, customer-focused agronomic recommendations that connect technical expertise with commercial objectives.
- Manage crop claim investigations, inventory tracking, and related records while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
- Support field development and product placement activities by applying advanced knowledge of crop production systems and field performance.
- Master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Science, or a related field is required, with a PhD preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience may also be considered.
- 6+ years of progressive agronomic experience following advanced education.
- Demonstrated experience providing agronomic recommendations, supporting commercial sales efforts, and delivering customer-facing technical solutions.
- Experience conducting field trials, product evaluations, and agronomic research is preferred.
- Strong expertise in crop production systems, field diagnostics, and agronomic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with growers, commercial teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong consultative selling capabilities and the ability to translate technical agronomic knowledge into practical business solutions.
- Ability to balance scientific and technical expertise with customer needs, commercial objectives, and real-world field conditions.
