This is a strategic finance role responsible for helping shape the organization’s financial planning and decision-making.
You will lead key budgeting and forecasting activities while developing models that support business growth and investment decisions.
Working closely with department leaders and senior management, you will turn complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
The role combines financial analysis, business partnership, reporting, and continuous process improvement in a fast-paced technology environment.
You will play an important role in evaluating business performance, identifying trends, and understanding the drivers behind financial results.
This position is well suited to an analytical and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working across teams and managing multiple priorities.
You will have meaningful exposure to strategic initiatives while helping improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of financial planning and reporting.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, partnering with department heads to ensure accurate plans aligned with strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast business performance, evaluate new business initiatives, and assess potential investments.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior leadership, highlighting key trends, variances, and business drivers.
- Act as a strategic finance partner to teams across the organization, providing financial guidance and decision support.
- Analyze business performance and translate financial information into clear, actionable recommendations for non-financial stakeholders.
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting.
- Support senior management with ad-hoc financial analysis, special projects, and other strategic initiatives as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required, with an MBA or CPA considered a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with demonstrated experience managing stakeholders within a technology organization.
- Exceptional analytical capabilities and strong financial modeling skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and strong experience working with financial systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial information into practical insights for non-financial audiences.
- Strong business judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across different functions.
- Base salary range of $150,000-$170,000 USD, plus bonus and equity.
