Join a remote infrastructure and projects environment where you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and delivering technology environments from the ground up.

You will work across the full infrastructure implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical assessment through configuration, migration, and production handover.

The role combines strong Microsoft expertise with virtualization, Linux, networking, identity, endpoint management, and automation technologies.

You will contribute to strategic projects involving server deployments, infrastructure migrations, hybrid environments, and the implementation of reliable IT services.

Your work will directly impact the stability, security, and operational readiness of the environments delivered to customers and internal stakeholders.

Accountabilities:

• Infrastructure implementation: Lead and execute complete infrastructure implementations, from initial requirements gathering and environment assessment through configuration, testing, production delivery, and operational handover.
• Microsoft environments: Design, configure, and implement Microsoft-based infrastructure environments, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Group Policy, and related services.
• Server and virtualization projects: Implement and configure servers, virtualization environments, Hyper-V platforms, clusters, and associated infrastructure components to support reliable and scalable environments.
• Endpoint and device management: Configure and support endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, including device policies, application management, security configurations, and related Microsoft ecosystem services.
• Linux infrastructure: Implement and configure Linux environments, particularly Debian and/or Red Hat distributions, supporting infrastructure services and project requirements.
• Infrastructure migrations: Plan and execute infrastructure migrations, including server and service migrations, ensuring appropriate preparation, validation, documentation, and transition to production.
• Networking and core services: Configure and troubleshoot infrastructure services and protocols such as DNS, DHCP, file services, and other foundational network components required for project delivery.
• Identity and security: Implement and configure identity and access technologies such as Entra ID, Active Directory, GPO, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and Microsoft security solutions where applicable.
• Automation and scripting: Develop and use PowerShell scripts and other automation techniques to streamline infrastructure deployments, migrations, configuration, and repetitive operational tasks.
• Technical delivery: Coordinate technical activities throughout projects, ensuring environments are properly configured, tested, documented, and ready for ongoing operation.
• Technical documentation: Consult and interpret technical documentation in English and apply relevant vendor guidance and implementation standards to project activities.

Requirements

• Professional experience: Proven practical experience implementing infrastructure environments from the ground up, including requirements gathering, configuration, migration, testing, and production delivery.
• Microsoft expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy management.
• Virtualization: Practical experience with Hyper-V, clustering, and virtualization environments, including implementation and configuration activities.
• Linux: Working experience administering and implementing Linux environments, particularly Debian and/or Red Hat.
• Automation: Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience using automation to improve infrastructure implementation and operational efficiency.
• Networking: Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and infrastructure services, including DNS, DHCP, file services, and common network protocols.
• Infrastructure migrations: Experience planning and executing migrations involving servers, services, applications, or broader infrastructure environments.
• Cloud and hybrid environments: Knowledge of Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments is desirable, particularly where cloud services integrate with on-premises infrastructure.
• Identity and endpoint management: Familiarity with technologies such as Entra Connect, ADFS, Autopilot, MDM, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access, and endpoint administration is an advantage.
• Additional infrastructure technologies: Exposure to solutions such as SCCM, SCOM, DPM, Orchestrator, Samba AD, Bind9, KVM, ManageEngine, Microsoft Defender, and related infrastructure tools is considered a strong plus.
• Scripting and automation tools: Familiarity with Bash scripting and file-transfer or migration automation tools such as Robocopy, Xcopy, and AzCopy is desirable.
• Mobile device management: Experience administering Android and iOS devices through enterprise management solutions is an advantage.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or technologist qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field. Equivalent professional certifications may also be considered.
• Technical English: Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.
• Certifications: Certifications such as AZ-800, AZ-801, AZ-802, MD-102, LPIC-1, LPIC-2, MCSA, or MCSE are valued, while AZ-104 and MS-102 are considered additional advantages.
• Problem-solving and ownership: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently, take ownership of technical challenges, and deliver infrastructure projects within agreed requirements and timelines.
