This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Testes Pleno based in Brazil.
This role will contribute to the quality, reliability, and performance of software solutions through structured functional and automated testing.
You’ll plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate test cycles to ensure systems meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.
Working closely with Product Owners, development teams, managers, and other stakeholders, you’ll help identify issues early and improve product quality.
You’ll design functional scenarios, support automated testing, and contribute to increasing test coverage across systems.
The position combines hands-on technical testing with collaboration across agile delivery teams.
You’ll also support system homologation and help ensure that sprint deliverables meet business and technical expectations.

Accountabilities
- Plan, execute, and monitor software system tests, analyzing results to determine whether solutions meet predefined specifications and requirements.
- Support Product Owners in defining and documenting acceptance criteria for backlog stories.
- Assist Product Owners with the acceptance and validation of sprint stories.
- Define and execute functional test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
- Support the development and documentation of automated unit and functional tests.
- Monitor test coverage levels and proactively identify opportunities to increase coverage where needed.
- Design, execute, and maintain automated tests using appropriate automation frameworks.
- Record defects identified during testing and associate them with the relevant work products and requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate the results of each testing cycle, identifying risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support managers and delivery teams during system homologation and validation activities.
- Execute and validate APIs using technologies such as RPC and REST.
- Perform integration testing, including BATCH environments and database-related validation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes, quality standards, and overall software reliability.
- Bachelor's degree or other completed higher education qualification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software testing.
- Certifications in functional and/or automated software testing, such as CTFL, CTAL, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with IBM testing tools and environments, such as Rational, ClearCase, and RQM.
- Practical experience executing and validating APIs using RPC and REST.
- Ability to identify, structure, and execute functional test scenarios based on requirements.
- Experience creating and executing automated tests, with a developer-oriented automation profile.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework.
- Experience with BATCH integration testing.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases such as DB2 and Oracle.
- Experience testing web-based applications is desirable.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Product Owners, developers, managers, and other stakeholders.
