Analista Fiscal (Serviço)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista Fiscal (Serviço) based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring accurate, compliant, and efficient tax operations for a growing digital accounting environment.

You will serve as a technical reference for complex fiscal matters, supporting the team with analysis, guidance, and problem-solving.

The role focuses on service taxation, tax calculations, withholdings, ancillary obligations, and municipal requirements.

You will also help translate tax legislation changes, including developments related to Brazil’s Tax Reform, into practical processes and training.

Your work will contribute directly to reducing fiscal risks while identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and optimization.

The position combines technical expertise, collaboration, process improvement, and the use of automation and AI.

Accountabilities

• Act as a technical reference for the team, supporting the resolution of questions and more complex fiscal cases.
• Review and validate tax calculations, withholdings, tax classifications, and ancillary obligations, identifying inconsistencies and potential risks.
• Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, including the Tax Reform, translating them into practical guidance, procedures, and team training.
• Support the standardization and continuous improvement of fiscal processes, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Provide technical support to coordination in investigating issues and defining appropriate solutions.
• Analyze service invoices, applicable withholdings, service codes, municipalities of taxation, and related fiscal requirements.
• Support procedures involving incoming and outgoing invoices and ensure proper tax treatment.
• Contribute to the accurate fulfillment of ancillary tax obligations and help minimize compliance risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional experience with Brazilian tax legislation and service taxation.
• Knowledge of specific taxation requirements and an intermediate understanding of the PIS and COFINS monophase taxation regime.
• Intermediate-level skills in tax analysis and calculation.
• Experience working with accounting software.
• Knowledge of service invoice issuance, tax withholdings, service codes, and municipality-specific taxation.
• Knowledge of CNAE classification and its appropriate application.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly with formulas and spreadsheet analysis.
• Intermediate knowledge of ISS legislation and municipal and federal tax incentives, particularly those related to service exports.
• Strong knowledge of ancillary tax obligations.
• Basic knowledge of automation and AI applied to professional processes.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and conduct training or knowledge-sharing sessions with team members.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain technical tax matters in a practical and accessible way.
