Accountabilities
Support day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities, ensuring orders and related documentation are handled accurately and efficiently.
Assist with identifying, researching, and evaluating potential suppliers based on business and purchasing requirements.
Prepare and process purchase orders while helping track order status, deliveries, and purchasing information.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, orders, delivery schedules, and other purchasing matters.
Support pricing analysis and contribute relevant information to purchasing and sourcing decisions.
Assist with inventory coordination to help maintain appropriate stock levels and support operational needs.
Maintain organized procurement records and purchasing documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to help resolve purchasing issues and ensure procurement activities align with business requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvements in purchasing processes and supplier management practices.
At least 2 years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, finance, or a closely related field.
Practical understanding of purchasing processes, procurement workflows, and vendor management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to review pricing, purchasing data, and supplier information.
Good negotiation and commercial communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple purchasing activities effectively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Proactive, dependable, and collaborative approach to working with internal teams and external suppliers.
