Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Community Specialist II - Technical & Knowledge based in Canada.

The Community Specialist II will help build an active, knowledgeable, and connected online community of nearly 50,000 users.

You’ll combine technical content creation with community engagement, helping users learn, solve problems, and get more value from the platform.

The role blends front-facing communication with behind-the-scenes work across automations, CRM data, workflows, and community tools.

You’ll create tutorials, how-to guides, knowledge-base articles, and other educational content while supporting technical discussions and events.

You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and other teams to amplify user feedback and strengthen the community experience.

The environment is collaborative, flexible, and highly autonomous, with plenty of room to experiment and introduce creative engagement initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically curious communicator who enjoys turning complexity into useful knowledge and meaningful user connections.

Accountabilities

    • Create clear, engaging technical content, including tutorials, how-to guides, knowledge-base articles, and blog posts connected to new product features.
    • Support community automations and workflows using tools such as FME Flow, Gainsight, Slack, CRM systems, and community platforms.
    • Monitor community health using CRM and Gainsight data, identify trends, and contribute to reporting and insights on engagement.
    • Edit and enhance content created by other contributors, improving clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usefulness for end users.
    • Moderate technical discussions, identify inaccurate or incomplete information, and ensure community conversations remain helpful and constructive.
    • Support community events and engagement programs, including webinars, special-interest meetups, and in-person user events.
    • Develop creative technical engagement initiatives such as challenges, contests, interactive activities, and hands-on learning experiences.
    • Assist with training content testing, technical Q&A, and other initiatives designed to help users learn and succeed.
    • Contribute to technical special projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.
    • Use AI tools thoughtfully for content creation, research, and workflow optimization while reviewing outputs carefully for accuracy, relevance, and quality.
    • Collaborate across internal teams to bring the user perspective into programs, content, and product-related initiatives.
    • Requirements

      • 3+ years of experience in technical content creation, community management, customer engagement, online communications, or a closely related field.
      • Ability and willingness to learn a technical product and translate complex concepts into clear, practical, and accessible content.
      • Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for clarity and accuracy.
      • Experience coordinating or supporting events, programs, webinars, or community initiatives.
      • Creative and curious mindset, with an interest in developing new ways to engage users and strengthen community participation.
      • Interest in understanding how community platforms and their underlying systems work, with the ability to grow into supporting community automations and workflows.
      • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment when moderating technical content and discussions.
      • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Customer Success, Marketing, or Operations.
      • Genuine enthusiasm for helping others and creating positive user experiences.
      • Comfort experimenting with AI tools and identifying practical ways to use them to improve productivity, research, content development, and community workflows while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
      • Experience with community platforms, CRM systems, Gainsight, or comparable tools is an advantage.
      • Experience building or supporting automations and workflows is a plus.
      • Familiarity with FME, data integration, ETL, or similar technologies is beneficial.
      • Light scripting experience for automation-related tasks is an asset.
      • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, and APIs is a bonus.
      • Curiosity about how technical products work behind the scenes and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
      • Ability to build rapport with users, communicate clearly, accept feedback, and work collaboratively.
      • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and subject matter in a changing environment.
      • This position is available across Canada, excluding Quebec.
      • Benefits
