This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Backend .NET Pleno/Sênior based in Brazil.

This is an opportunity for a backend developer to build and evolve critical digital products supporting the financial and investment ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

• Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs, following modern development practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with a strong focus on scalability, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Participate in technical solution design and architectural decisions, contributing to the continuous evolution of the technology ecosystem.
• Build and evolve applications based on microservices and distributed systems architectures.
• Develop integrations with internal and external systems, including platforms and services supporting investment and financial operations.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues through structured troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to improvements in application architecture, performance, stability, scalability, and overall software quality.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, including unit and integration testing, to ensure reliable and maintainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, promoting engineering standards, clean code, and knowledge sharing across the development team.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable technical solutions.
• Participate actively in agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, prioritization, and technical delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers, sharing knowledge and development best practices.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience in backend development using .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, with an understanding of security, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems architecture.
• Knowledge of messaging systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Practical experience working with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to analyze complex technical scenarios, propose appropriate solutions, and make decisions with autonomy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different technical and business teams.
• Degree, technical degree, or equivalent education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related field.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Experience with RabbitMQ or other messaging technologies is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is desirable.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, SonarQube, automated testing with xUnit or similar frameworks is advantageous.
• Familiarity with API security practices, including authentication, authorization, and access management.
• Experience building high-availability, highly scalable systems capable of processing large volumes of data is a strong advantage.
• Previous experience in investment markets, banking, brokerages, trading platforms, or fintech is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income, and investment funds is a plus.
