Accountabilities:
As the Director, AI Content Development, you will lead the strategy, execution, and evolution of AI-focused technical learning content. You will manage a team of content professionals while building efficient workflows, prioritizing high-value initiatives, and ensuring learners receive accurate, relevant, and engaging educational experiences.
- Lead and develop a team of individual contributors across content creation, technical review, curriculum support, video production, and project management.
- Establish clear goals, workflows, quality standards, and operating processes for a fast-paced content development environment.
- Identify emerging AI learning opportunities by analyzing market trends, learner needs, technology changes, and stakeholder feedback.
- Translate business priorities and technology developments into actionable content strategies and delivery plans.
- Prioritize content initiatives based on learner impact, technical relevance, business value, and speed to market.
- Partner with curriculum and solution leaders to develop content aligned with broader learning strategies and portfolio objectives.
- Provide strategic direction on content topics, audience needs, skill levels, learning outcomes, and positioning.
- Ensure technical content remains accurate, practical, engaging, and aligned with modern professional learning standards.
- Oversee rapid content production initiatives by managing timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and delivery expectations.
- Encourage experimentation with new content formats, workflows, and production approaches while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Monitor content performance, relevance, freshness, and learner engagement to guide portfolio decisions.
- Identify opportunities to update, expand, replace, or retire content as technologies evolve.
- Communicate priorities, progress, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders across the organization.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced content and technology leader with a strong understanding of technical education, emerging technologies, and team leadership. You should be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, creating structure, and making strategic decisions that balance speed, quality, and learner impact.
- 8-12+ years of experience in technical content, content operations, technical education, curriculum development, technical production, program management, or digital learning.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing individual contributors in content, learning, production, or technology-focused environments.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and experience creating educational experiences for professional audiences.
- Ability to research, interpret, and prioritize emerging technology trends, particularly in AI and related technical domains.
- Familiarity with AI technologies, tools, platforms, and industry trends.
- Experience improving workflows, production processes, delivery models, and quality standards.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and impactful learning experiences.
- Experience collaborating across curriculum, product, engineering, production, operations, and business teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and prioritization skills.
