This is an opportunity to influence product growth and profitability within a fast-paced, international travel environment.

Accountabilities

    • Lead category management by analyzing product performance, identifying portfolio gaps, and determining where investment and optimization are needed.
    • Develop and manage the seasonal and specialty merchandising calendar from planning through execution.
    • Ensure product information remains accurate, consistent, and aligned with what is actually being offered to customers.
    • Partner closely with Product teams on product planning and launches, Sales teams on building a compelling and sellable portfolio, and Marketing teams on channel and campaign alignment.
    • Use booking trends, performance data, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback to guide merchandising and content decisions.
    • Analyze commercial outcomes and connect merchandising decisions to key indicators such as leads, conversion, close rates, and margins.
    • Champion a customer-centric digital journey spanning discoverability, storytelling, navigation, search, and conversion optimization.
    • Build and implement AI-supported workflows that improve merchandising and content efficiency without compromising quality or editorial standards.
    • Manage, coach, and develop the Merchandising team, fostering strong execution, accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
    • Establish clear content standards and provide strong editorial direction across the team's work.
    • Influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant education.
      • 6-8 years of experience in digital merchandising, content strategy, product marketing, or a closely related discipline, with demonstrated success developing strategies that support growth and profitability.
      • 3-5 years of experience managing, coaching, and developing teams.
      • Previous experience in luxury travel, hospitality, tourism, or another premium customer-experience environment is strongly preferred.
      • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate commercial data into actionable merchandising and product decisions.
      • Deep understanding of digital customer journeys, including discoverability, content storytelling, navigation, search, and conversion optimization.
      • Strong editorial judgment and the ability to establish a clear content point of view while maintaining high-quality standards across a team.
      • Genuine curiosity about customer behavior and emerging trends, with the ability to combine quantitative insights with qualitative understanding.
      • Practical experience using AI tools within content, merchandising, or related workflows, with an understanding of how to apply them responsibly.
      • Familiarity with tools such as Asana and Cloudinary is an advantage.
      • Strong ownership mindset, initiative, and ability to move strategic priorities forward with limited direction.
      • Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence peers and senior leaders.
