This role leads sales performance across a multi-market district covering Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Austin, San Antonio, Waco, and Dallas.
You will help drive profitable revenue growth by developing sales talent, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding market penetration.
The position combines sales leadership, territory planning, market development, forecasting, and strategic account growth.
You will partner closely with branch and district leadership to understand competitive dynamics and identify opportunities for expansion.
A key focus will be coaching Outside Sales Representatives and aligning inside and outside sales activities toward shared objectives.
The role also supports customer-focused events, key account initiatives, and effective use of Salesforce to improve sales execution.
This is a field-oriented leadership opportunity for an experienced sales professional who brings strong business judgment, organization, and communication skills.
Accountabilities
Lead, motivate, and proactively support Outside Sales Representatives in achieving and exceeding equipment rental, sales, and total revenue objectives.
Partner with District and Branch Managers to develop new markets and identify opportunities for profitable growth.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and other factors that may affect district performance and profitability.
Support Branch Managers in establishing sales territories, objectives, forecasts, and performance expectations for Outside Sales Representatives.
Align Inside Sales Representative activities, goals, and objectives with the priorities and targets of the Outside Sales organization.
Assist with sales blitzes and customer-focused events designed to strengthen business relationships and increase sales penetration throughout the district.
Support the development and expansion of key account revenue, including national, strategic, and assigned accounts.
Encourage effective and consistent use of Salesforce to support sales planning, customer management, reporting, and performance visibility.
Collaborate with regional and district leadership to execute sales initiatives and translate broader commercial strategies into local action.
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance support to sales professionals while helping establish a structured, accountable sales environment.
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
At least 7 years of successful experience in outside sales, sales management, or management, with demonstrated success in planning, problem-solving, and negotiation.
Proven ability to lead and develop sales teams toward measurable revenue and business objectives.
Strong customer service, presentation, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical abilities, business acumen, and understanding of sales performance drivers.
Proficiency with computers and experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of establishing structure and priorities independently.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate sales professionals and collaborate effectively with branch and district leadership.
Ability to understand market conditions, identify commercial opportunities, and contribute to territory and forecasting decisions.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to meet applicable requirements for a position classified as safety-sensitive.
