Enterprise Architect

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Architect based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale digital transformation initiatives for complex manufacturing environments.

You will shape enterprise architecture strategies spanning cloud, edge computing, IoT/IIoT, data, and AI/ML ecosystems.

The position combines strategic vision with hands-on architectural expertise to turn business objectives into actionable technology roadmaps.

You will help organizations build scalable, secure, compliant, and cost-efficient technology foundations.

Working with globally distributed teams and senior stakeholders, you will guide critical architecture decisions and align business and technology priorities.

The role also provides an opportunity to mentor technical teams and promote strong architecture practices across transformation programs.

Accountabilities

• Lead large-scale digital transformation programs for manufacturing organizations, guiding initiatives from strategic vision through execution.
• Define and implement enterprise architecture frameworks connecting cloud, edge computing, IoT/IIoT, data analytics, and AI/ML platforms.
• Translate business strategies and objectives into actionable technology roadmaps focused on scalability, performance, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain architecture strategies across business, data, application, infrastructure, and technology domains.
• Ensure enterprise solutions meet high standards for security, privacy, compliance, governance, and operational resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and technical teams to align architectural decisions with business priorities and transformation objectives.
• Advise and influence stakeholders at different organizational levels, clearly communicating complex architectural concepts and technology trade-offs.
• Balance emerging technologies and innovation with practical considerations around reliability, maintainability, performance, and operational excellence.
• Design and integrate complex enterprise systems across cloud, edge, IoT, analytics, and AI/ML environments.
• Mentor and coach architecture and engineering teams, promoting disciplined architecture practices, innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to architecture governance and ensure transformation initiatives remain aligned with established enterprise standards and long-term technology objectives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in IT architecture or related technology architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, edge computing, IoT/IIoT, data analytics, and AI/ML platforms.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and Alibaba Cloud.
• Demonstrated experience designing, integrating, and evolving complex enterprise technology ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy, compliance, and governance frameworks, including ISO standards and GDPR.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into technology strategies, architecture frameworks, and practical implementation roadmaps.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on technical experience and the ability to understand implementation-level challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams.
• Experience collaborating effectively within global, distributed, and multicultural teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance innovation, business value, technical feasibility, risk, and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities, with a collaborative and low-ego approach to working across disciplines.
