Full Stack Developer (Frontend-Focused)

This is an opportunity to build polished, high-performing websites for clients across a diverse range of industries.
You’ll work primarily across HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript, translating designs into responsive and accessible digital experiences.
The role also involves deep work with WordPress, Gutenberg, and Drupal, giving you the opportunity to combine frontend craftsmanship with practical backend expertise.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, consultants, and occasionally clients to solve technical challenges and refine implementations.
AI-assisted development tools will be part of your workflow, helping you plan and execute larger projects efficiently.
The environment is fully remote and highly collaborative, with teammates working across multiple countries.

Accountabilities
Build custom WordPress themes, Gutenberg blocks using ACF or React, and plugins based on provided designs and project requirements.
Translate design mockups into responsive, accessible, pixel-accurate frontend implementations using HTML, CSS/SASS, and modern JavaScript.
Develop and customize Drupal websites, including theming, content types, and module-level troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve frontend and backend issues across WordPress, Drupal, and other CMS environments.
Use PHP to read, debug, extend, and troubleshoot existing WordPress and Drupal codebases.
Apply WordPress hooks, filters, and broader LAMP-stack practices to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.
Collaborate directly with designers, consultants, and, when required, clients to resolve technical challenges and refine website implementations.
Use AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code to support planning, implementation, troubleshooting, and execution of larger projects.
Contribute to fast, accessible, performant, and well-crafted websites that meet both technical and design requirements.
Work independently within a remote environment while communicating clearly with distributed team members and project stakeholders.
5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript.
3+ years of hands-on experience building and customizing WordPress websites.
Demonstrated experience developing Gutenberg blocks, particularly using ACF or React-based approaches.
Solid working knowledge of PHP 7.x/8.x, with the ability to confidently read, debug, and extend existing WordPress and Drupal codebases.
Practical experience with Drupal, including theming, content architecture, or module-level development and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with WordPress hooks and filters, MySQL, Git, and general LAMP-stack conventions.
Strong understanding of responsive web development, accessibility, frontend performance, and translating visual designs into production-ready interfaces.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as Claude Code.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, client-facing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Nice-to-have experience includes React or Angular, Laravel or Symfony, Docker, Linux environments, AWS, or other cloud platforms.
100% remote, full-time position based in Brazil.
Annual compensation of $30,000-$35,000, plus commission.
