Full Stack Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Engineer based in India.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across both front-end and back-end layers. You will contribute to solution architecture, technical design, development, testing, and deployment while ensuring applications remain secure, reliable, and maintainable. The role offers broad technical ownership, from creating responsive user interfaces to developing APIs and optimizing databases. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to turn requirements into effective technical solutions. You will also contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity for a proactive engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working with modern web technologies.

Accountabilities:

• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure application architectures aligned with business requirements and established technical standards.

• Evaluate technical approaches and recommend solutions that balance performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical designs, implementation strategies, feature estimates, and release plans.

• Develop and deploy scalable web applications while taking ownership of both front-end and back-end functionality.

• Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Develop robust server-side applications using technologies such as Python, Java, or Node.js.

• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs with databases and third-party services while optimizing performance for high-volume requests.

• Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient SQL queries, and maintain data integrity and performance.

• Apply appropriate database technologies, including SQL databases and basic NoSQL solutions where relevant.

• Write unit tests, perform integration testing, debug applications, and proactively resolve software defects and performance issues.

• Investigate production issues through log analysis, debugging, and root-cause analysis.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to define requirements and deliver solutions on schedule.

• Create and maintain technical documentation covering system architecture, APIs, coding standards, development processes, and user guidance.

• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, code quality, development workflows, and overall engineering practices.

• Stay current with evolving web development technologies and contribute ideas for continuous technical improvement.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development, covering both front-end and back-end engineering.

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Professional experience with back-end development using Python, Java, or Node.js.

• Familiarity with relevant frameworks such as Django, Spring, or Express is an advantage.

• Strong experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.

• Deep understanding of SQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.

• Basic familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Experience using Git and working within collaborative software development workflows.

• Strong understanding of web security principles and practical experience implementing secure development practices.

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and application-optimization skills.

• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable solutions.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and proactive approach to development, with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.

• Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, testing, and technical documentation.
