JD Edwards Senior CNC Consultant
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a JD Edwards Senior CNC Consultant based in India.
As a JD Edwards Senior CNC Consultant, you will manage and optimize critical JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments in a remote, client-facing setting.
You will oversee environment administration, package builds, deployments, upgrades, security, monitoring, and production support.
The role requires deep technical expertise across EnterpriseOne architecture, infrastructure, databases, middleware, integrations, and performance.
You will troubleshoot complex application and infrastructure issues while maintaining system stability, security, and availability.
Working closely with functional, development, DBA, infrastructure, and customer teams, you will support reliable operations and successful technical changes.

Accountabilities:
Administer JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, servers, path codes, data sources, middleware, and security configurations.
Manage package builds, deployments, ESUs, Tools Release upgrades, environment refreshes, and related technical activities.
Monitor EnterpriseOne environments and proactively identify issues affecting system availability, performance, or reliability.
Troubleshoot application, batch, web, database, middleware, integration, and performance-related issues.
Provide production support, incident response, change execution, and technical issue resolution.
Support upgrades, migrations, environment changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage and support EnterpriseOne components including Enterprise Server, Deployment Server, HTML Server, AIS, BSSV, Orchestrator, WebLogic, and Server Manager.
Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and customers to resolve technical issues and deliver stable solutions.
Support security activities involving LDAP, SSO, SSL, access controls, and related security technologies.
Contribute to high availability and disaster recovery initiatives and ensure appropriate operational readiness.
Perform performance analysis and tuning to improve system responsiveness and reliability.
Use scripting and automation tools to streamline administration and operational processes.
Support third-party JD Edwards integrations and related technical troubleshooting.
Maintain clear technical documentation covering environments, changes, incidents, configurations, and operational procedures.
Participate in managed services activities and provide effective communication and stakeholder management throughout support engagements.
Senior-level, hands-on experience administering JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC environments.
Strong knowledge of EnterpriseOne architecture, OMW, package management, path codes, environments, and data sources.
Proven experience with Enterprise Server, Deployment Server, HTML Server, AIS, BSSV, Orchestrator, WebLogic, and Server Manager.
Familiarity with Oracle Database, SQL Server, and/or DB2/400 environments.
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, Windows Server, IBM i OS/400, networking, SSL, and security concepts.
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, operating-system scripts, Python, or similar tools.
Knowledge of third-party EnterpriseOne integrations such as Vertex, All-Out Security, EDI, RFSmart, Smarter Commerce, ReportsNow, and/or Insight Software.
Experience with OCI or cloud environments.
Strong understanding of high-availability and disaster-recovery concepts and implementations.
Experience with JD Edwards performance tuning and optimization.
Expertise with LDAP and SSO security environments.
Proven experience supporting upgrade and migration projects.
Managed services and customer-facing experience is highly desirable.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues across multiple layers of an enterprise environment.
Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with distributed technical and business teams.
