This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Grupo QuintoAndar | Senior Software Engineer - Enterprise Engineering based in Brazil.
This is a senior software engineering role focused on building products that expand the capabilities of corporate functions through technology and data.
You’ll take ownership from discovery and architecture through development, deployment, and ongoing operation of software used in day-to-day business workflows.
The role combines backend services, user-facing applications, integrations, automation, and data products to solve practical organizational challenges.
You’ll work directly with non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs, shape solutions, and deliver products that create measurable operational value.

Accountabilities
Partner with corporate teams to understand their workflows, identify problems, and translate business needs into effective software solutions.
Own products end-to-end, covering discovery, technical design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance.
Build backend services, integrations, and user-facing components that provide complete solutions to operational challenges.
Design and evolve scalable software architectures, APIs, databases, and integrations with third-party and internal systems.
Develop integrations with SaaS platforms and enterprise tools, helping connect systems and automate manual processes.
Collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders throughout solution discovery, prioritization, delivery, and iteration.
Apply sound software engineering practices, including version control, automated testing, deployment automation, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Monitor application health, performance, and reliability through appropriate observability and monitoring practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, systems, and services as business needs evolve.
Where applicable, mentor other software engineers and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
Strong professional experience in software engineering and end-to-end product development.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or Python.
Experience developing backend services as well as user-facing software components.
Solid understanding of database design, data modeling, and database evolution.
Hands-on experience creating RESTful APIs and integrating third-party systems, SaaS platforms, and internal services.
Experience designing and evolving software architecture from the ground up.
Knowledge of software monitoring, observability, performance tracking, and production practices.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, deployment automation, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders, understand their workflows, scope appropriate solutions, and deliver collaboratively.
Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English, with the ability to work with English-language code, documentation, technical tools, and international colleagues or partners.
Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, HR systems, ticketing platforms, or similar tools is a plus.
Experience partnering with corporate functions such as People, Legal, or Finance is desirable.
Experience mentoring software engineers is advantageous.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.
Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices, containers, and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes is desirable.
