This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Humanities / Arts / Culture Evaluator based in India.

This role offers an opportunity to apply deep expertise in humanities, arts, or culture to the evaluation and improvement of AI-generated work.

You will review documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other digital artifacts for accuracy, rigor, quality, and subject-matter relevance.

Your expertise will help assess how effectively AI systems understand and produce work requiring nuanced domain knowledge and professional judgment.

You will evaluate outputs against clearly defined quality standards while identifying factual, aesthetic, structural, and presentation-related issues.

The role is fully remote and designed to provide flexibility, allowing you to contribute on your own schedule through an hourly engagement.

You will work on projects connected to the development and enhancement of advanced AI systems, helping shape how these technologies perform in your area of expertise.

Accountabilities:

• Evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and other work products against established domain-specific quality standards and evaluation rubrics.
• Apply professional expertise in humanities, arts, or culture to assess the accuracy, relevance, rigor, and overall quality of AI-generated outputs.
• Identify factual inaccuracies, unsupported claims, contextual issues, aesthetic shortcomings, formatting problems, and presentation errors.
• Assess whether generated materials demonstrate appropriate depth, nuance, structure, and professional standards for the relevant subject area.
• Provide clear, structured, and actionable written feedback explaining identified issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Apply evaluation criteria consistently while exercising sound professional judgment when reviewing complex or ambiguous outputs.
• Contribute subject-matter expertise that helps improve the quality, reliability, and usefulness of AI-generated content.
• Review materials efficiently while maintaining a high standard of attention to detail and analytical rigor.
• Work independently across assigned projects while adapting to different evaluation requirements, subject areas, and quality frameworks.
• Use common productivity and collaboration tools to review, analyze, and assess digital work products.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in humanities, arts, culture, or a closely related field.
• Native or professional fluency in English, with strong written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to critically analyze written, visual, and presentation-based materials within your area of expertise.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify factual, conceptual, aesthetic, and presentation-related issues.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to provide concise, structured, and constructive feedback.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides.
• Ability to work independently, manage assigned tasks effectively, and maintain consistent quality in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical judgment and the ability to apply domain knowledge to unfamiliar or AI-generated materials.
• Comfortable working with structured evaluation criteria, rubrics, and quality standards.
• A Master’s degree or higher from a reputable institution is preferred.
• Curiosity about artificial intelligence and an interest in contributing specialist knowledge to the development of advanced AI systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work as an independent contractor and manage a flexible, project-based workload.
• Candidates must be able to work without H-1B or STEM OPT sponsorship.
