Motion Graphics Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Motion Graphics Designer based in India.

This is a fully remote creative role focused on transforming ideas into compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content. You will help bring marketing messages and brand stories to life across social media, mobile platforms, product experiences, and emerging media. The role combines strong visual design skills with storytelling, animation, and creative problem-solving. You will collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop engaging content that captures attention and communicates clearly. You will have the opportunity to work across both 2D and 3D animation while experimenting with new techniques and creative approaches. The environment encourages designers to follow brand guidelines while still pushing creative boundaries and exploring fresh visual ideas. This role is well suited to a creative professional who enjoys turning concepts into polished, high-impact visual experiences.

Accountabilities:

• Create visually engaging motion graphics, animations, and video assets for marketing campaigns, social media, product UI overviews, and other digital channels.
• Develop creative and strategic visual concepts that address specific marketing and communication objectives.
• Transform initial concepts and static designs into compelling motion graphics, including 2D and 3D animation.
• Use tools such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and related animation software to produce high-quality content.
• Incorporate typography, visual effects, transitions, sound design, and other creative elements to increase engagement and storytelling impact.
• Develop reusable graphic and motion templates that enable other team members to efficiently create consistent content.
• Maintain brand consistency while finding opportunities to introduce innovative and visually distinctive creative approaches.
• Review and refine deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, visual consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
• Stay current with motion design trends, emerging techniques, digital media formats, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients, communicating creative concepts and incorporating feedback throughout the production process.
• Manage creative projects independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of execution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional graphic design experience, including hands-on experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Motion Graphics, or a related field; alternatively, 6+ years of relevant graphic design experience with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong technical proficiency with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and 2D/3D animation tools.
• Demonstrated ability to translate creative concepts into polished, engaging motion graphics and video content.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to consistently deliver high-quality visual work.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, animation, visual storytelling, aesthetic awareness, and creative problem-solving.
• Strong understanding of typography, visual composition, animation principles, visual effects, and sound integration.
• Knowledge of major social media platforms and an understanding of how video content can be adapted to engage different audiences.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly explain creative ideas and work effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to balance creative ambition with brand requirements, project objectives, deadlines, and audience needs.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment and managing priorities with limited supervision.
• Must be located in India and willing to work according to EST hours.
