Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Bookkeeper - Global based in India.

You will play an important part in strengthening financial controls, improving accounting processes, and providing reliable information for business decisions. Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will help ensure smooth and efficient financial operations. The position is suited to an experienced accounting professional who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

      • Experience working with multiple legal entities and maintaining financial records across organizational structures.

      • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and standard bookkeeping practices.

      • Practical understanding of U.S. taxation, corporate structures, auditing, and corporate finance.

      • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or comparable accounting software; familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, DocuSign, and Windows is beneficial.

      • Experience preparing budgets and forecasts and analyzing financial variances.
