This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Manager, Experimentation Platform based in United States.
This is a senior product leadership role focused on building the shared foundations that enable experimentation at scale.
You will shape the strategy and roadmap for an experimentation platform supporting product, engineering, analytics, and machine learning teams.
The role combines technical product management, quantitative decision-making, and platform strategy to improve how teams test, learn, and innovate.
You will help establish common experimentation standards, abstractions, and guardrails that increase rigor while reducing fragmentation.
Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will expand capabilities across randomized experiments, model deployments, feature flags, and emerging experimentation patterns.
You will also help create a center of excellence that enables teams across the organization to adopt stronger and more consistent experimentation practices.
This is a remote, digital-first opportunity for an experienced product leader who enjoys solving complex technical problems and influencing teams across a distributed organization
Accountabilities:
- Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for the experimentation platform, balancing immediate business priorities with a scalable long-term vision that supports emerging and agentic product experiences.
- Partner closely with Machine Learning, Analytics, Engineering, Product, and other technical teams to develop shared experimentation capabilities, including randomized experiments, model deployment, feature flags, measurement, and emerging experimentation approaches.
- Establish common abstractions, standards, and guardrails that reduce fragmentation, improve experimentation quality, and make it easier for product and engineering teams to test ideas and learn with confidence.
- Build and guide a center of excellence for experimentation by defining best practices, strengthening methodological rigor, and enabling teams throughout the organization to adopt effective experimentation practices.
- Work with stakeholder groups across Growth, Servicing, Capital, and other business areas to understand needs, identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and drive adoption of shared platform capabilities.
- Shape the organization’s experimentation technology strategy by evaluating external vendors, internal development opportunities, and the right balance between third-party solutions and internally built capabilities.
- Influence technical and product decisions across multiple teams, connecting experimentation infrastructure and capabilities to broader product priorities and business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, combined with 7+ years of product management experience.
- Proven experience owning strategy and roadmaps for technically complex software, platform, infrastructure, data, or developer-facing products.
- Strong experience partnering with Engineering, Data Science, Machine Learning, or Analytics teams on technical architecture, product tradeoffs, prioritization, and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to apply quantitative methods such as statistics, experimentation, analytics, or data science to product development and decision-making.
- Experience developing platforms that support Machine Learning or AI workflows, particularly around deployment, measurement, or experimentation.
- Preferred experience building or leading an experimentation platform product within a consumer technology environment or an experimentation technology provider.
- Strong knowledge of experimentation methodologies, including randomized experiments, feature flags, model experimentation, metric design, and statistical evaluation.
- Ability to translate shared technical capabilities into platform strategies that support broader organizational and product priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and quantitative concepts to engineers, data scientists, product teams, and senior leaders.
- Proven ability to build alignment across multiple product and technical teams, establish shared practices, and influence stakeholders within a distributed organization.
- Remote position available across the United States, with the team operating across East Coast and West Coast time zones.
